Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using bl8 (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The service

bl8 shortens URLs into short links, generates QR codes for those links, and shows click analytics to the link's owner. The public redirect at bl8.us/{code} is unauthenticated — anyone with a short link can follow it.

3. Accounts

Creating and managing links requires signing in with a Google account. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use bl8 to create links that point to:

• Malware, phishing pages, or other content designed to harm visitors
• Content that's illegal where you or bl8 operate
• Spam, or content whose main purpose is to abuse the redirect or analytics for others

We may block or remove links that violate this section, and some destinations are already rejected automatically at creation time (for example, links pointing at internal or private network addresses).

5. Your links and content

You're responsible for the destination URLs you shorten and for keeping them accurate. bl8 doesn't review destination content before a link goes live, and a short link can be followed by anyone who has it — don't shorten a URL you don't want to be reachable publicly.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to bl8 at any time, for any reason, including a violation of section 4. You may stop using the Service at any time.

7. Availability and warranties

bl8 is provided "as is" and "as available," with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind, express or implied. See the status page for current and historical reachability of the service's own dependencies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bl8 and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including loss of data, links, or click history.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continuing to use bl8 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
